Bothy is the result of Bob's passion and interest in Wild Boar.
Bob rented woodland to rear traditional free-range wild boar in a
healthy, stress free environment as close to the natural life cycle as
possible. The result is Northwood Wild Boar.
With a
mind to see the product from Woodland to the final consumer, butchering
on site and reducing "food miles" the farm shop and butchery was
conceived A collaboration with Wemyss and March Estates who hold
the same viewpoint as Bob regarding quality and honesty in food
production resulted in the Bothy.
